Is mangadex not working just for me?

Can't access mangadex.org, a site with loads of manga translations (and an actual place translators upload to, not a lame mirror, as far as I'm aware), for like a week now. Can someone verify if it works? The browser gives me a generic "site not found" error.

It works just fine for me. Try another browser.

It's a little slow for me but it loads up well enough for me.
Try clearing cache or restarting your internet router(always a classic).

Checking on another device had the problem as well. Restarting router didn't help.

Digging in browser more seems to point to encrypted connection issue. It did go down for me when a few other small sites had certificate problems but those got resolved quickly. Couldn't find any way to allow it to load anyway unlike for those sites though.

It seems like it's your internet that's having a problem, you can check in with your internet provider to see if everythings is working fine or you can try turning off proxy(Windows 10 had that in the settings) although I don't recommend that because internet security stuff but it has worked with me a few times when sites couldn't load.

It could not be the same issue,but I had a similar one with mangadex.org ... I finally resolved it by bypassing its encripted connection(for a certain number of countries like in EU) setting up a VPN (FREE,either as an add-on browser or pc-installed, but selecting an adequately fast,stable,secure,servers) whenever I need to check through it.

Never used anything more serious than online proxies, and all that I can find seem to have problems accessing it due to JavaScript. I did manage to find a mirror site for the only ongoing series I need it for that seems to be up to date, so I guess there's no need to look into anything more drastic.

 From Reddit (by  users "TheWatchfulGent" and "VirtualKoala_42") there is also this 2 solutions : " If you're using Verizon, it's blocking Mangadex. Download Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 app, activate it, and try again " ; " For those who still have this issue - you can also try using Firefox browser, it helped in my case. I guess it's because of the DNS-over-HTTPS https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-dns-over-https feature (I think it's enabled by default but I'm not sure so you might have to check it first) ".

Alright! I do use Firefox, and that option seems to do the trick and not break any other site I need. So I guess the issue is resolved successfully (and just in time for a new chapter, actually). Huge thanks!
