> Having to stay 'in-character' as a doll has made it rather difficult to sneak around and investigate...  As far as what's notable: You overheard that Alice is attending some kind of formal event later this evening, as she was playfully asking the other dolls which dress they thought she should wear.  You've also had a few close calls with being discovered when Marisa decided to pop in for a visit and talk about spell cards.

> There's the entrance you came in from, a sliding glass door that goes out to a porch and the garden, there's a combined dining room and kitchen off to the side and a staircase across from the entrance that leads upstairs.

> You carefully ascend the staircase, making sure not to alert any of Alice's dolls.  The staircase wraps around and opens into to a wide hallway with 3 doors, two to the side and one at the end.  The walls are lined with a few abstract (in your opinion) paintings and bookcases.  A skylight runs the length of the hallway, illuminating it with natural sunlight.

> You push the door open and find a studio inside!  A large arched window brightly illuminates the an unfinished painting depicting what looks like a night sky?  Tall shelves hold hundreds of bottles containing every color under the rainbow.  Alice's paintings are so lifelike it's like you can almost touch the scenery!

> The first thing that catches your eye is a stack of canvases leaning against the wall.  Flipping through them you find various abstract and outlandish paintings but nothing related to Iris or even dolls in general?
> Next you investigate the shelves where a particular paint bottle catches your interest with it's clear liquid.  What's the point of painting with it if there's no color!?
> Absentmindedly you gaze through the window and see Alice is still busy gardening.

> Inside is what you believe to be Alice's bedroom!  It's western style is immediately apparent with a huge bed (compared to what you sleep on!) with ten pillows (that's 10 more than you have!) and an equally huge dresser-drawer with an ornate mirror on top across from it.  More paintings line the walls, though you believe some of these aren't Alice's.  A large arched window illuminates the room, in front of which is a table with various foreign looking writing materials on it.

> You doubt the bed or dresser-drawer are worth investigating so you head over to the table and examine the writing materials ... which you can't understand!  Could it perhaps be some kind of western language?  You search through the stacks of papers (carefully preserving their order) and find a few with sketches of dolls or doll parts.  One has a complicated diagram with a note (or question?) written in light blue ink that you can actually understand which says "articulating spherical bearing?".  You deduce this must've been written by Alice, given there's also a bottle of the same light blue ink on the table next to an odd looking writing tool with a sharp golden tip.

> With the papers back in their original location you take a look around the room and spot something you couldn't see from the entrance on a nightstand next to the bed.  It appears to be an old, thick book of some sort with a leather strap holding it shut.

>> Writing Colors - The question on the blueprint is written in light blue ink, while the highlighting is written in red ink.  A bottle of light blue ink was found near the aforementioned blueprint.
