> Myon previously had trouble carrying much more than Aya. Is Myon somehow larger than before, or is Waka just that much smaller than Aya?

Youmu:

Myon:

> Walk along as well.

Youmu:

> "You see, there's an incident going on right now, and I've dabbled in solving before, so I'm helping out. The ribbon you see on Myon was put on an unsuspecting cat, enhancing her abilities but making it harder for her to control them. It ended up forcibly separating people's spirits from their bodies. Ah, that's not my ability, so it won't happen to you, don't worry."
> You note she's no bigger than before. You're still sure this isn't as bad to carry.

> You start back for the shrine. It's still difficult to walk though, strangely, it's getting easier as you go. Like, lighter. Maybe it's a heavy enough weight to get used to after a bit, like training?

You know who has been the biggest existential threat to Gensokyo? Dandelions. Namely an invasive western species that made the native one extinct. They got accidently brought in by someone in WaHH, and Yukari took such a big offense to them that she manipulated people to devour them as connoisseur food.

Myon:

> Given the presence of the mermaid, how much free space do we have left within us? (Pretend the water doesn't exist for the purpose of this assessment.)

Youmu:

> How does Waka seem to be handling her current situation?
> Does she sound any different from being inside Myon?
> "There we go indeed! I would have been horribly embarrassed if I said all that stuff and then couldn't make good on it. I must plan further strength training for myself."
> "In any case, welcome to land, Lady Wakasagi. Before we begin, is there anywhere in particular you would like to visit?"
> You could probably fit a second Waka, though both would be very uncomfortably squished and one's tail would have to be moved around weirdly under the other, probably.

> She looks a bit tired maybe? Has she been helping?
> You can hear her just fine, same as Myon heard her before covering her.
> "Maybe the Hakurei Shrine? I've heard a bunch of people talk about it before, but can't really get to it."

> Indeed it is about hould time to "Check for overlooked insights", "perfom Underscored Copies from them selected parts of reports", "bring for... Explanation and to... Attention" these "more enlighting parcel of such criminal reports"... alongside their unreported consequential change & gain of perspective...

> You search for the turning point and find a few disappearance reports within the last grave robberies, after which all the cases are categorized as mysterious deaths.
> No names in particular come to mind.

> You sort the records by height and notice the earlier victims are generally shorter, and taller ones appear only more recently.

> You think hard about the bar mentioned in the report and recall it's been suspected of providing a front for illicit operations at night while also harboring criminals, but you've yet to find conclusive evidence that would let you form a cast against it.  It primarily operates at night, making it difficult to get trustworthy eyes and ears inside.

> Looking through the documents something clicks and you have an epiphany.  The grave robberies are linked to mysterious disappearances and deaths!  Each grave robbery appears to have a matching disappearance/death file in which all the descriptions (height, gender) match!

> Putting two and two together you ponder why the cases were first labeled as "grave robberies"?  Graves usually contain bones and occasionally valuables depending on cultural practices, you assume it'd be rather obvious to discern between a "mysterious death" and a "grave robbery".  Unless... only skeletons were found, leading the guards to assume a grave robbery took place?

> Indeed it's looking more like the inspectors were led to believe these were grave robberies based on what they found.

> You previously looked at the map showing the placement of the crimes and the dates of the reports are at mostly uniform and regular intervals.

> You do not know of any other documents at this point or have any relevant memories to confirm your theory.  After all these are the original case files, anything else you'd find in say a newspaper or article would be speculation or theorizing.  You may need to ask those who discovered the crimes to elaborate for more information.
